No Time To Die in Dolby Atmos and Vision has ruined cinemas for me

After months most of it spent a lot of watching movies at home, I have been to the cinema to see the two films this week – the return of James Bond in a short time to die, and the latest Blockbuster Marvel, Shang-chi and legend of ten rings. Both are great, and right on my way – so why don’t I enjoy the time to die more?

The answer is simple. I did not see the time to die in the new Odeon Luxe cinema in the center of London, complete with the Dolby Vision HDR screen and the sound of the Surround Overhead atmos Dolby, while I saw Shang-chi in my old standard multiplex. And I’m afraid I can never return.

Now there are bays that are increasingly widening between the quality of presentations in the top-class cinema, and standard projections in the majority of other cinemas.

The Dolby Vision Cinema screen is able to improve color, brightness and contrast level thanks to the company’s proprietary HDR system, which is projected to use a modular double laser projector Christie 4K 6P. Dolby Audio atmos, on the other hand, enveloped the listener in the sound of 64 individual speakers.

In a combination of Dolby cinema, the result is an amazing and deep experience, with visual appears and the sounds that explode around you.

Eye opener

Seeing the bond and Shang-chi more or less back to the back then opened his eyes. Here are two great action films, which must explode with life and color. Except for one, bond, it looks like it has been filmed in the future, while the others, Shang-chi, really reminded me of the clever VHS pirates that have been filmed on the camcorder.

You remember the type – the type where you can hear the audience laugh, and see someone stand to go to the toilet. The bond action scene, on the other hand, caught fire with lights and enchanting enthusiasm, with the same sound exploding, Shang-chi just looked washed away – it was a fantastic element of drab, and a darker scene lost details.

And keep in mind that both are available in Dolby Vision and Atmos – Shang-chi can look as good, if I look for premium cinema formats elsewhere.
