Netflix plans That ’70s Show streaming spinoff set in the ’90s

Netflix will be a future home for the 70s showing a spin-off series in the 1990s not in the 1970s. The idea of restoring the updated sitcom hit for the next generation of viewers is not a new one, but despite talking about spin-off, someone has not been confirmed … until now. The 90s show will cover the red forman and kitty.

Netflix officially approved the spin-off series, according to the deadline, which reported that Debra Jo Rupp will return in its role as Kitty Forman and Kurtwood Smith will return in their role as Red Forman. The new series will begin in 1995 and revolve around Leia Forman, the daughter of the 70s of Eric and Donna performances.

Red and Kitty will be, quite clear, become grandparents this time, and we will see them in this role when Leia visits them for summer. This series promised to return what made the 70s show so great when continuing a few decades quickly and introducing groups of new children.

The report claimed that some other members of the actor from the original series would make appearance, minimally, in their role, potentially meant we would see native children as adults with their own children. However, there is no agreement written now with the original actor.

Netflix has booked the first 10 episode of the 90s show. Not surprisingly the company decided to continue with the sequel to the theme of the 90s because the original series proved popular in streaming services until the end of last year. Fans expect new spin-offs will be more popular than the necessary sequel that the ’80s shows, which only gets one season before cancellation.
