Pokemon GO Nothin’ Dull About Duskull ticket rewards for Community Day

Niantic has just released access to the October Pokemon Go Community Day “ticket.” This ticket bought access to a special study called “Nothin ‘about Duskull”, which will apply on October 9, 2021. If you have a dollar to spend on this ticket, you might be wondering: Is this ticket worth one dollar? Let’s peek at what’s in it.

Every day the community – for some of the last community day events over the past few months – we have seen a little trend. Given what we already know and assuming there is no good reason for Niantic to break with tradition, we can bet we have a handle on what is in the store for this particular research.

What’s more, we have pokeminers that are harvested from the game files that we face with the ghost type Pokemon, and quite special, per our friend Professor: “I believe this as Duskull, The Requiem Pokémon!”

The first part of this study requires Pokemon Powering 10 times, catching 15 duskull, making 5 good throws, and gathering gifts. Gifts include 15x Pokeballs, 20x Duskull Candy, 1x Fast TM, 2K Stardust, and 2X more Duskull Encounters.

Per Professor, “I want to know what else can we learn about Duskull? Let’s try to evolve into dusclops!” Step 2 requires you to catch 15x more duskull, transfer 10 Pokemon, and evolve 3 duskull.

The professor will ask you alert to Dusclops because it is Pokemon Beckon, and “that it sucks everything as if it is a black hole, so be careful with his mouth!”

One strange bit here is a professor who acts surprised at one point: “Oh wow! Wait, (Playername), what do you do? Oh no, I don’t mean to tell you to feed Berry to Dusclops – I intend to tell you not to do that. There must be miscommunication. “Professor’s text continues,” I am happy to see that you are here and not sucked into a black hole! “

Update: This text is replaced slightly between updates – it will read: “I am very sure I said not to feed Berry to Dusclops … But maybe I said the opposite of the mistake? Yes, my bad thing is that.”

This bit shows that we may need to feed Berry to Dusclops, which will require that we find dusclops in the wild (impossible), or set Dusclops as Pokemon’s friend, then feed Berry.

If we follow with what is included with special research in the past, step 3 will require that we make 3 curveball ball throws, evolve 1 dusklops, and transfer 10 pokemon. Possible possibilities include 50x Candy Duskull, 1x Star Piece, 15X Big Ball, 2500xp, 1x Rocket Radar, and 15x Ultraball.

The last step (step 4) is likely to only a set of gift claims, as usual. This step is likely to include 3500xp, another duskull meeting, 2x silver pinap berries, 3k Stardust, Dusknir meeting, and 2x Candy rare.

It is possible that before the event is finished, we will have more duskull candies than we will know. And a fair share of Duskull Shiny, too!

99-cents tickets for special research described above * can be found at the Pokemon GO store in the game today. * We will not know the exact content of special research delivered by tickets until the assignment and prizes are included in the update for the game – possibly in the next few hours!
